Don Bosco, a legendary Italian Saint, a luminous educationalist and a great champion of youth, is our inspiration and guiding star. Don Bosco’s magnificent vision of reaching out to millions of youth across the globe is being realized today through his faithful followers – priests, brothers and lay people who through various initiatives aid young people to find happiness and lead a meaningful life. The head quarters are in Rome and it has branches in 132 countries. We are globally recognized and specialist in the field of education for youth.

DON BOSCO CULTURAL CENTRE

Don Bosco Cultural Centre, Kochi, Kerala is one of the unique projects of the Society of Salesians of Don Bosco, of the Province of Sacred Heart, Bengaluru, India, that promotes traditional dance forms of Kerala and also train talented children in Vocal and Instrumental Music. Begun in 1983 by Late Rev. Fr. Philip Thayil SDB for the purpose of training the financially average but talented boys in Music, Dance and other performing arts, the institute has trained more than 750 youngsters. There are several past pupils who are doing very well in the field of Music and Fine Arts.

DON BOSCO ACADEMY OF MUSIC & FINE ARTS

Don Bosco Academy of Music and Fine Arts is the Music training department of Don Bosco Cultural Centre, Kochi. We train our students of Cultural Centre as well as the students from our neighbouring locality in Piano, Keyboard, Violin, Guitar, Western Vocal and Drums under Trinity College, London. Trinity College, London has recognized this Academy as its official Sub-Centre in Kochi, Kerala.
We have classes also for Carnatic Vocal, Tabala, Mruthangam, Chenda and Classical Dance. Our Fine Arts section of the department conducts classes for Painting and Drawing.
